Corprasoft Makes Available New Feature Pack for Corprasoft Legal Desktop 8.5

Dallas -- January 10, 2007 -- Corprasoft, a leading provider of matter management software for in-house legal departments, has introduced a new Feature Pack upgrade for Corprasoft Legal Desktop (CLD) 8.5, the company’s industry-leading matter management system for in-house legal departments.

CLD 8.5 FP1 includes a new user interface, more convenient options for printable invoices and enhanced Lotus Notes support.

"The new user interface introduced in FP1 gives CLD a more modern look and feel, with updated icons, new color schemes and tabs instead of a toolbar," said Jim Bridges, president and chief executive officer of Dallas-based Corprasoft. "We’re confident that our customers will enjoy the new user experience we’ve created with this ‘face lift’ that our developers have given to the system."

According to Bridges, FP1 enables customers to print invoices from within the Invoice Properties page in CLD, a convenience that had been requested by customers. In addition, the new FP1 release offers enhanced Lotus Notes integration, including event notification, event calendar attachments and various routed invoice approval notifications.

CLD 8.5, which was introduced to the marketplace last spring, features significant advancements in end-user reporting and analysis. The new release includes a new reporting and query module, enabling users to define their own reports and formats with the aid of a simple interface. This development frees in-house legal professionals from dependence on their internal IT staff for reporting needs, while also reducing the cost and administrative burden associated with paying for a separate reporting tool.

The reporting function was also enhanced in CLD 8.5 by creating a single location within CLD where users can access their matter management reports.
